Another facet of the K9 community that Jackson feels passionate about is that of our Military Working Dogs. After a visit to see them at Naval Base San Diego and subsequently seeing some of our nations special forces K9s, Jackson decided to start finding a way to ensure they too have support. After hearing first hand from the military K9 handlers how much they appreciated receiving care packages from Military Working Dog Team Support Association we knew we wanted to reach out and see if we could help fundraise for them. As a military child, Jackson knows first hand how rough deployments can be. He also knows the joy of receiving love from far away, and how motivating it can be. MWDTSA is an amazing nonprofit organization that supports both ends of the leash of our deployed Military Working Dogs in all branches of our Nation’s military. The idea for our WARDOG line came from one of our followers who happened to be a Veterinary Technician for the Army’s special forces K9s aka Corpsman of K9s who purchased our original #chasegear. Jackson loves drawing on the polymailers that our orders are shipped in and he drew a special WARDOG on this particular package. That turned into a patch of his original drawing which was launched on Veteran’s Day of 2019. Because of the generous support we received of the WARDOG patch we were able to donate $2,000 to MWDTSA to aid in their continued support of our Military Working Dogs.
